Description El Goretto 2020-02-13 15:02:36 UTC
Hi,
It's been some time now that Zstandard is being advocated by (fsarchiver) upstream as the recommended compression algorithm (http://www.fsarchiver.org/compression/), other algorithm being considered as "legacy".
Can you please enable the zstd use flag by default in fsarchiver's ebuild (current one is app-backup/fsarchiver-0.8.5)?

Bonus: fsarchiver is included in the official Gentoo AdminCD, and libzstd is already built and available there too, so that would be a waste not to have zstd support in fsarchiver ;)

Regards,
El_Goretto

Reproducible: Always
