I occasionally use xfe; is there an alternative LIGHTWEIGHT file manager that supports being a drag-and-drop source? See also bug 703088 comment 6.
Add my vote for saving xfe. It is the only ligthweigt filemanager that works as i want it.
I hate to drop another me-too, but I have used xfe almost daily for years along with its integrated text editor (xfw) and also its image viewer (xfi) for verifying good scanned documents. These are simple and lightweight tools that I would hate to lose.
