mate-extra/mate-utils-1.22.0 does not appear to install all relevant files. mate-search-tool, mate-dictionary and mate-system-log refuse to start with: (mate-search-tool:2395): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 15:22:45.701: Settings schema 'org.mate.interface' is not installed Trace/breakpoint trap Cheers!
Can you confirm this with 1.24? mate-desktop-1.24.0 installs /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.mate.interface.gschema.xml and mate-utils applications seem to start fine for me.
Oh, indeed. With mate-desktop installed, the utils start fine. It should be added as a dependency to mate-utils. Cheers!
