The ebuild says "MIT", but when you compare that license to the COPYING file in the tarball you see that is it clearly not MIT, although the restrictions are very similar. Reproducible: Always
Agreed. It looks like it's actually this license (https://spdx.org/licenses/HPND-sell-variant.html) which seems very unexpected.
This is now resolved upstream. Not really anything for me to do in Gentoo, so resolving.
