@mjo, will you be working on porting xfce4-hdaps to GTK+3 / xfce4-panel-4.14?
Comment 1 Michael Orlitzky gentoo-dev 2019-10-20 12:29:12 UTC
Yeah, it's on my TODO list, but the only HDAPS hardware I have is a 12-year old laptop so I've been reluctant to move things to ~arch to do testing. I'll deal with it before it becomes a problem in ::gentoo though for sure.

New Xfce is stable already, so there's no need for ~arch.

Ok, I'm out of excuses then.

    xfce-extra/xfce4-hdaps: new gtk+-3.x version.

    New upstream version, new license, new dependencies, new EAPI, new
    eclasses, etc. I'm no longer bothering to check for a "recent" 2.6
    kernel. But overall, everything should work pretty much the same.

    Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/698104
    Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.76, Repoman-2.3.16
