The current version of pipenv in gentoo is very much outdated. It's almost 2 years old. I understand the versioning and of pipenv seems random and the maintainers here lack the motivation to bump version every time upstream does. I created a PR that updates pipenv, and I would appreciate if the python team can merge it.
