Description BT 2019-09-17 23:56:41 UTC
libupnpp 0.17.1 has been available since 2019-03-28. No news or changelog is available. The commits since 0.17.0 can be viewed at the source repository[1]. A simple bump worked for me.

One issue is that the ebuild has LICENSE set to GPL-2. The tarball has a COPYING file which is LGPL-2.1. However the source repository has an additional LICENSE file which is LGPL-2.1-or-later. The source file headers all have LGPL-2.1-or-later except for md5{cpp,h} which is public domain.

Hi Erik, there was no reply for since two version bumps. Do you still maintain this package?

I guess that's a no.

With recent versions, libupnpp isn't a wrapper for libupnp anymore. It's now a wrapper for libnpupnp, a fork of libupnp.

I no longer use upmpdcli/libupnpp on Gentoo, so if there is no maintainer maybe this bug can be closed and another opened for libupnpp+libnpupnp.

I don't think it's appropriate to close the bug as WONTFIX. It implies the maintianer has decided not to.
