upstream removed xkaapi support in version 7.1 see the relevant commit https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/commit/cb70c136990f14da97a5bcd1fb2245246a75aba8 this will solve alot of problems with the buggy xkaapi-2 package should I make a pull request on github?
