I'm using the package gnuplot-lua-tikz which checks for PGF/TIKZ version. It fails arguing that a minimum version (=>2.0) hasn't been found. Using a simple latex document, \pgfversion returns "0.0" in the PDF. I'm using texlive-2019, while pgf is the stable one (3.1.4). I checked in opensuse and the package texlive-pgf-2019 provides the file pgf.revision.tex which, in gentoo, should be in /usr/share/texmf-site/tex/generic/pgf (and it isn't). Should this file be provided in the package? Or is it something that should be created with an install script (which, for whatever reason hasn't run)? Is there any additional information that I can provide?
