Created attachment 584916 [details] emerge --info output As per summary, the most versions of dvdstyler in the Gentoo tree do not build with the current stable version of ffmpeg in the tree. There is a newer upstream version available which is claimed to fix this. Build log and info requested are attached.

3.0.4 from portage has a patch applied and does build and launch. Not sure why 3.0.3 is still in the tree. Current upstream 3.1.1 won't build because it needs >= wxsvg-1.5.19 which is not available in portage.
No version of media-video/dvdstyler is currently stable.
