Since influxdb 1.7.0 the querying language flux can be used with influxdb, which has some advantages over InfluxQL. https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v1.7/about_the_project/releasenotes-changelog/
am working on an eclass that will support building Go modules which I will need to use for this project, so I will bump it after that is complete.
