Patch that fixes it

I have the same problem. Analoguesly to this bug report: https://git.busybox.net/buildroot/commit/?id=fc32ff878b10dab55c02234ec92f92cb594c8cfa , here's a patch that fixes this for me.

(However, the ebuild is EAPI 5, so user patches don't get applied)
