But current gkrellm git HEAD contains lots of valuable fixes that justify a new release. Your bug report encouraged me to have a look over all the commits that were done since 2.3.10 release and IMHO a new release is long overdue. Meanwhile I've added a gkrellm-9999 live ebuild so you can use that to get your desired fix. If there won't be a new release soon, I am going to cherry pick all the good fixes from git and do a new revbump.
