Version 2.0.5 is out, with support to Python3 The version is found at gnome overlay, at https://github.com/gentoo/gnome/blob/master/dev-util/itstool/itstool-2.0.5.ebuild. We could add support for Python3.7, tested for some time on my system - works good.

Bug left intentionally open, as it still blocks python-3 tracker, as the old version is still there with py2 only. As such converting this bug into a stabilization one now. However, we need to give it some time in ~arch testing now; 30 days is customary.
Is it possible to stabilize it now?
