Upgraded from systemd-241-r1 to systemd-242_rc2. I can no longer reach the login screen on boot. Kernel starts up but systemd hangs with a blank screen. Usually it shows a password prompt for my full disk encryption password. Pressing ctrl-alt-del shows some systemd output, then restarts. Downgrading to 241 fixes the issue. Recovered some errors from journalctl: (sd-passwd)[381]: (sd-passwd) takes no arguments. systemd-tty-ask-password-agent[379]: Password agent failed with: 1 I use a very basic LUKS encryption config: $ cat /etc/crypttab storage UUID=e83a401a-fafc-4be1-ad33-ad0d886e0e6b - luks, discard
Please report this upstream.
