To avoid dropping keywords, I package.use.masked media-gfx/shotwell opencv on ia64 myself. Please either agree with not having face detection support in your shotwell builds, and close the bug; or keyword opencv, drop the shotwell opencv package.use.mask and test that it (shotwell[opencv]) at least compiles.
