same for app-emulation/docker-proxy-0.8.0_p20190301 workaround (see bug 567192 ) su - then emerge
The su - workaround did not work for me with app-emulation/docker-proxy-0.8.0_p20190405. It just returns the following error: failed to initialize build cache at /var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/docker-proxy-0.8.0_p20190405/homedir/.cache/go-build: mkdir /var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/docker-proxy-0.8.0_p20190405/homedir/.cache/go-build: permission denied
