This might be as simple as adding the lzma USE flag to the dev-libs/boost dependency.

dev-libs/boost[lzma]

I'm still waiting to test this, though.

I had the same issue. With the following work-around I was able to compile clanbomber:

EXTRA_ECONF="--with-boost-libdir=/usr/lib64" emerge -va clanbomber

I'm still able to reproduce this issue right now.

Since it has not been fixed for a long time, I'd suggest to evaluate if it is the case to remove this package from the tree. Thanks
