commit c4d9f29ab6e99140fddc060a145bc9beeabd7a40 Author: Mikle Kolyada <zlogene@gentoo.org> Date: Sat Dec 22 12:35:35 2018 +0300 dev-lang/tcl: Version bump (v8.6.9) Signed-off-by: Mikle Kolyada <zlogene@gentoo.org> Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.51, Repoman-2.3.11 You forgot to sync up dev-lang/tk to the same version. dev-lang/tcl:0 (dev-lang/tcl-8.6.9:0/8.6::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) conflicts with ~dev-lang/tcl-8.6.8:0= required by (dev-lang/tk-8.6.8:0/8.6::gentoo, installed) ^ ^^^^^
Created attachment 558686 [details] tk-8.6.9.ebuild Grew annoyed with portage yammerin' on about this. Hacked up a raw merge of tcl8.6.{8->9}.ebuild deltas into =tk8.6.8, which was trivial in the sense of not requiring deep contemplation of any unexpected upstream mysteries/legacies. The resulting gitk does not insta-crash so that seems victory-ish. Except for the part where I decided to waste my time on it in the first place just for cleaner yes/no prompts, but, hey, it was this or get some work done...
