I'd like to note that the pull request here is by Case_Of who also made the ebuild for 0.9.24 and has been hanging out in the #hedgewars channel since. He's been playtesting his ebuilds too. Kind of a defacto maintainer at this point? Just mentioning in case it changes anything in the equation for accepting the PR.

Quentin, if you want to proxy-maintain the package you are invited to change metadata.xml accordingly on the next version bump. Please note that testing revealed a cmake warning as upstream apparently has removed PHYSFS_SYSTEM option, dropped from ebuild in 84b875617c83737944b85bbafce713b59bcbe155.
