This would solve bugs 631118 and 642036 (vala 0.36 compilation failure). Maybe they should depend on this bug?

builds fine here with ebuild from redcore-desktop
https://data.gpo.zugaina.org/redcore-desktop/x11-misc/pcmanfm

Now running in lxde, in desktop configuration.

also tried to update libfm[-extra] from the same site.
They builded fine, but pcmanfm went segfault.

This was done to try to escape from keyboard and interface freeze that have been experienced here for a couple of years.

Plesae note that 'emerge -uDNU world doesn't require libfm[-extra] to be rebuilded. I don't know why, but this is a good thing, at least here.

Will report here if the freeze keeps arising.

For the record when trying tp digest new libfm, ebuild command failed to fetch libfm-1.2.3 so I had to delete it. It may be worth checking that out. (I know this is a libfm thing...)

Thks 4 ur attention.

Oops my bad! Regarding the libfm-1.2.3 fetch issue sidenote, just noticed I'm experiencing ISP sway of restarts, very likely to be the cause of the reported problem, sorry.

Event worth that that, just caused by now old ebuilds in untidy /usr/local/portage/x11-libs/libfm. Sorry again.
