Version 0_p20181024 has a bug which causes incorrect data to be sent to the server, resulting in rapid-fire disconnection and reconnection of one of the sockets, which causes difficulty using Hangouts and eventually, sometimes, temporary IP banning from the server due to the rapid connection rate. Commit cd38fcd fixes the incorrect data and makes the plugin usable again. So, version 9999 is usable at present. I will place a link to the original bug (reported by someone else, but also experienced by me) in the URL field of this bug. Could we get another snapshot which includes cd38fcd so that the latest non-live build works? Thanks.
Thanks Chistopher. I'll send a version bump patch. The upstream bug behaves a little different for me. I can log in and receive messages, but then after some time all the same got disconnected with 400 or 404 error. I was mostly using the live version and didn't face the issue.
