The package is ancient, has no revdeps and suffers multiple issues: 1. Ebuild was broken in 2014 and does not apply the second patch. 2. C*FLAGS processing is broken, and fails when flags contain --param ... 3. Tests are broken (they don't link to the library). 4. freesteam-config is broken when Python 3 is eselected.
