Sorry, forget about that. Yep, it works fine with simple bump, I'm using it for a week already.
A simple bump works for me as well, though the icon is a bit weird in xfce's notification area ( https://0x0.st/s1kz.png ) with this new version (xfce4-panel, everything's ~amd64), for all that that's worth.

I have same issue on my desktop with 4k display, but it not reproduced on laptop with fullHD.
