1. LyX already has dev-texlive/texlive-fontsrecommended as a dependency. 2. dev-texlive/texlive-fontsextra is annoyingly large. 3. adding forced extras defeats the whole point of a modular system. Reproducible: Always
This is still the case, fontsextra gets pulled as dependency. I agree with the points made above, and would like this bug revisited :). Thank you in advance.
Well... some fonts there are commonly used (as beramono)... but I agree that maybe it should be moved behind an "extras" USE flag or rely on optfeature.eclass
