Our klibc package is severely outdated for years, buggy and nobody wants to take care of it. Maybe it would be interesting to try to disable the optional static support here to try to avoid its dependency if possible Thanks
Wouldn’t it be better to change USE=static to use the system libc’s when possible? (thus not allowing glibc and maybe other libc with broken static linking but allowing at least musl for that) I can do the patch, and as I’m using mksh as the default shell for quite some time now I can take maintenance (and anyone is welcome on co-maintainance).
