biopython-1.71 is out (current version in-tree is 1.68, a few iterations old). This works fine with python-3.6 too (tested). The update is trivial: 1. ebuild rename 2. add 6 to python3_{4,5} in PYTHON_COMPAT= Considering that most packages are python-3.6 ready, this is one of the few that may potentially hold someone "back" by forcing extra python version to be installed. So, it would be nice to get this update in. I'd commit this myself, but (due to prolonged hiatus due to RL activities) I don't have commit rights at present..
