First of all, while the older versions installed some documentation, this version installs none. Would be nice to have either as a default or via a USE flag. Second, ffmpeg integration is available see docs/FFMPEG.TXT, and enabled with: make ENABLE_FFMPEG=yes Finally, OCR capabilities are available (see docs/OCR.txt). With tesseract and leptonica (both available in the main tree), ccextractor can be compiled with: make ENABLE_OCR=yes Would be nice to have use flags for both of those options.
At least WITH_FFMPEG leads to build failure, I would not recommend to add this feature before 0.86 version bump (with buildsys fixes).
