According to http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/cking/stress-ng.git/ version 0.09.18 is current. Version 0.06.00, the latest version in Gentoo, is almost 2 years old.
Thank you for the bump request. You can help the maintainer with further information: Does a simple bump [1] work on your system? [1] https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Custom_repository#Simple_version_bump_of_an_ebuild_in_the_local_overlay
I have created an updated eBuild. But, there is one QA Warning: * QA Notice: The following files contain writable and executable sections * Files with such sections will not work properly (or at all!) on some * architectures/operating systems. A bug should be filed at * https://bugs.gentoo.org/ to make sure the issue is fixed. * For more information, see: * * https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Hardened/GNU_stack_quickstart * * Please include the following list of files in your report: * Note: Bugs should be filed for the respective maintainers * of the package in question and not hardened@g.o. * --- --- RWX usr/bin/stress-ng That seems not be the GNU stack in this case. I don't have a clue, how to solve this. Any ideas?
