Jlec - I don't know what version of portage you are using, but nothing for the last while has distfiles available during pkg_setup. aufs3 ebuild has the same issue. Please move distfiles usage to a sane function. Masked for tree cleaning in 60 days.
well this one's a little problematic.. can't put the kernel patches into $FILESDIR, its too big (and would go against the cutdown efforts of $FILESDIR contents), and the patches need to be applied before the package builds, and they can't be applied during src_*, so... it looks like the only option here is to drop kernel-patch support entirely?
