We are stuck with version 1.6.1 in portage, while there has been ~34 releases since then. The last one is 2.0.3 as of today. The gentoo package is clearly not maintained Please remove it, 1.6.1 is not compatible with current stable/unstable django releases anyway. Having it in portage make people assume it's a relatively recent release (if not the latest), and it's misleading.
You are correct Thomas. This is clearly unused and unmaintained. I'm not the maintainer of this package, so I'll give dev-zero a few days to weight in, and then begin the last-riting process.
Treecleaners, maintainer is unresponsive, package is unmaintained and without revdeps. Could you look into treecleaning it please? Thanks.
Masking this for removal, along with: dev-python/shortuuid dev-python/fexpect shortuuid is a django-extensions dependency that has only one other revdep: fexpect which is unmaintained and dead upstream.
