Hi, I tried to convert the tiny bowtie-2.2.9-fix-c++14.patch to apply over 2.3.4.1 sources but since I do not know what I am doing I failed to realize why the second hunk does not apply. Please try to bring into the tree the bowtie-2.3.4.1 version. Thank you.
Likewise, bowtie1 could be bumped to 1.2.2.
