Current upstream electrum-ltc is 3.0.6.2. Installing the gentoo ebuild available at the moment (3.0_pre2017121) is not safe, several bugs have been fixed since then, so either electrum-ltc should be removed altogether forcing people to download the new version directly from the developers' site, or an updated ebuild made available. If an ebuild for 3.0.6.2 is made available, it should take into account that some people have python 3.6 on their systems, and should not be made to install an older version of python for electrum-ltc (the program's developers make no mention of their program requiring a legacy python3)
