This is a proxied maintainer bug. Please keep this bug open and assigned to you as long as you maintain at least one package in Gentoo. Please use this bug to communicate: - e-mail address changes, - extended periods of unavailability, - possible resignation from proxied maintainer status, - and any other events related to your maintainer status. Please make sure to read the bug mail from the bug tracker and reply to requests as soon as possible.

Hello, Michal! mm, I do not even know what's the right answer to your "Are you still around?". I have a pretty demanding job since last December. So I just did not have time to contribute. I also used to contribute a lot to Drupal but all my modules there have to wait just like my involvement with Gentoo. Overall, yes, I still look forward to properly maintaining the handful of packages I have here in gentoo tree. I hope here at my job we are releasing the project either in October or November; and then things should calm down and I should have spare time to look around and fix outstanding tickets. But well, I know you do not have to trust me on my word :) Talk is cheap :-p Nonetheless, yes I do wanna be involved here with Gentoo.
Hey, what's the status here? I see your last commit was made 6 months ago and you have lots of packages needing a version bump, and bugs closed. Not looking to kick you, but just let us know what's the situation.
Hello! No worries about "kicking" me. I certainly deserve some kicks. :) Seems like I have overestimated my ability to involve with Gentoo, since more than a year ago I haven't been doing much in Gentoo. Other things in my life keep me quite busy and it has been long enough that way, so it's not a 'temporary' thing, probably - my new job is more demanding and the leisure time I do get, I prefer to spend it with beloved ones and outside of computer world. In general, yes, I would like to help Gentoo whenever I can, but I probably do not have enough commitment for being maintainer of any package. Though, if/when I have spare time yes, I will throw in some PRs into the gentoo repository. Currently I've barely been able to maintain Gentoo on my PC up to date, let alone contribute. This is the most sincere answer I have right now. Nonetheless, Gentoo did teach me some useful and interesting things (about Bash and Python). You have also been pretty tolerate about my inactivity - thank you. I guess I simply do not know whether I need to somehow explicitly cede my 'maintainer' rights or just other maintainer will pick the packages up? Alex.
