I can't reproduce this. Does this still happen with activesupport 5.1.6 or activesupport 5.2.0?

I had another look at this issue but I can't reproduce it on amd64 and all the code involved appears to be ruby, so I'm not sure why this fails. This would require further debugging on a system where this fails.
