Description Ian Stakenvicius (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-02-05 19:40:16 UTC
After a recent update, portage reported the following to me:

!!! existing preserved libs:
>>> package: net-fs/libnfs-2.0.0
 *  - /usr/lib64/libnfs.so.8
 *  - /usr/lib64/libnfs.so.8.0.0
 *      used by /usr/bin/qemu-img (app-emulation/qemu-2.10.1-r1)
 *      used by /usr/bin/qemu-io (app-emulation/qemu-2.10.1-r1)
 *      used by /usr/bin/qemu-nbd (app-emulation/qemu-2.10.1-r1)
 *      used by /usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 (app-emulation/qemu-2.10.1-r1)

Sure enough, net-fs/libnfs has a subslotted SLOT= value in its ebuilds but app-emulation/qemu does not use := (or :0=) on the dependency atoms. Please add.
