Qt4 is dead and going away. backintime master branch however is already PyQt5 compatible for a long time. It would be nice to have a live ebuild for testing ready.

Michael, please consider adding a snapshot to tree for testing and evaluation if we can eventually replace current stable with it. Samuel, how is 9999 working out so far?

I don't really know about usability, but as new qt5 interface launches I'm highly confident it works as well as previous versions. This package is installed here, but I don't use it as my backups are managed trough crontab job with raw rsync. So I can just confirm it installs and launches fine.
