IANA timezone database 2017c was released a week ago. http://mm.icann.org/pipermail/tz-announce/2017-October/000047.html Some changes are needed now (because some of them have gone effective already or will become effective before long). sys-libs/timezone-data package needs to be updated to 2017c.
