A lot of people like to install gnome-terminal on non-gnome desktops but with current defaults IUSE="+gnome-shell +nautilus", it pulls a whole lot of gnome-specific (not just some libs, but gnome-control-center, gdm, gnome-desktop, etc) deps and also a switch to systemd. Could we move those default flags into profiles/targets/desktop/gnome/package.use for this package? Or if you want even more coverage, a case could be made for adding both those flags to profiles/targets/desktop/gnome/make.defaults USE. Thanks for your consideration.
Makes sense, though not sure which
