Jonas Stein sent a second mail today plus ticket via github.
My response, also just sent over email: I am using less and less of Gentoo and my (unfortunately honest) reply would be that I don’t really see myself reconnecting anytime soon based on my current usage. The best response for all users of my packages would to make public that I can no longer maintain them. If my situation changes I will be happy to reconnect to my (co)-maintainers at that stage.
