Intel Performance Counter Monitor is discontinued, but forked on github and still available as "Processor Counter Monitor". The fork is referenced on the old Intel PCM Website: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-performance-counter-monitor They also mention, that they are still contributing to the fork. Therefore, I belive the fork can be seen as the official successor. Please add the current version of Processor Counter Monitor to portage. The releases are available here: https://github.com/opcm/pcm/releases

Not that it was really "fixed". intel-performance-counter was dropped, but pcm wasn't added to the gentoo repo. Maybe, someone would like to contribute the ebuild. // maybe it will even be me someday
