I have noticed that =media-gfx/nomacs-3.6.1 require dev-qt/qtimageformats in order to be able of open .tiff files. Even if compiled with +tiff use flag I was not able to see tiff images, but as soon I have emerged qtimageformats it started to work fine.
I can confirm that without dev-qt/qtimageformats-5.7.1 the "media-gfx/nomacs" doesn't able to open *.tif files. Also media-gfx/gwenview lost "TIFF" support after deleting of the "qtimageformats" that is in dependence of gwenview. In case of gwenview such dependence installs automatically.
