Does it fail repeatedly? Did you try -j1?

Just unforutnately, 100% of the time I tested it before filing this bug... When it does fail it seems to fail randomly on either of tests in that component in isolation, so they might be touching some shared state. However, no amount of experimenting in tests/property-changed-signal/ with: dbus-launch make -j9 check Exhibits the issue for me ( I did this earlier and the 100% pass I attributed to me running the tests wrong ) However, operating in tests/ proves useful enough: for i in {0..10}; do dbus-launch make -j2 check >&/dev/null; echo $? ; done 2 2 2 0 2 2 0 2 0 0 0 for i in {0..10}; do dbus-launch make -j1 check >&/dev/null; echo $? ; done 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Couldn't you just say in a single sentence that it's a race condition?
