Well, you'll need to figure that out before we can assign this bug to somebody. ;)
Please also provide enough information for someone to reproduce the problem. There is no way anybody could do anything useful with this bug report as-is.
The package I was running is gnome-mplayer. I filed it as "unknown package" though because IIRC that's just a gtk based wrapper around mplayer.
To reproduce: 1. Start gnome-mplayer 2. Maximize the window 3. Pray to the random number god 4. Load and play a video 5. Be lucky enough to repeat step 4 enough times to trigger the problem.

This package is dead upstream since 2014 so don't expect any fixes coming from there. Debian have dropped gnome-mplayer in 2015 already: https://www.mail-archive.com/pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org/msg35942.html This is also the last reverse-dependency on musicbrainz:3.
