I just emerged the just stabilized audacity-2.1.3-r1 and the compilation failed with the following error Making all in portmixer make[2]: Entering directory '/var/tmp/portage/media-sound/audacity-2.1.3-r1/work/audacity-minsrc-2.1.3/lib-src/portmixer' make[2]: *** No rule to make target 'all'. Stop. Note that I disabled portmixer though USE="-portmixer", so to me it seems this should never be built at all. P.S. There are a lot of new USE flags for this version bump and many of them are default enabled/+. Was this a deliberate choice? I had to disable many of them in my package.use to get back to where it was at 2.0.5-r2.

This still persists with 2.2.1. Seems to be caused by using -portmixer as USE flag, which then doesn't generate a Makefile, but apparently isn't properly disabled from the Makefile that includes it. Created attachment 515326 [details] audacity-2.2.1-r1.ebuild Ebuild incorporating the patch in this bugreport as well as the patches from Bug 636722 and Bug 637110 Creating empty dummy directories just to make eautoreconf pass without errors does not seam a clean solution, but maybe someone will make a better ebuild on the basis of this one.
