Description Jonathan Lovelace 2017-06-20 19:20:17 UTC
Any emerge -auND @world on my Mac OS X Prefix installation for I-don't-know-how-long gives something like this:

!!! The following update has been skipped due to unsatisfied dependencies:

dev-perl/Net-HTTP:0

  selected: (dev-perl/Net-HTTP-6.90.0:0/0::gentoo_prefix, installed)
  skipped: (dev-perl/Net-HTTP-6.160.0:0/0::gentoo_prefix, ebuild scheduled for merge) (see unsatisfied dependency below)

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "dev-perl/IO-Socket-INET6" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-perl/IO-Socket-INET6-2.720.0::gentoo_prefix (masked by: missing keyword)

IO-Socket-INET6 has an unkeyworded dependency of its own, dev-perl/Socket6, as well.

I tried installing both dev-perl/Socket6 and dev-perl/IO-Socket-INET6 using 'ebuild ${ebuild} test install qmerge', and both succeeded; I'm somewhat less sure about IO-Socket-INET6 because it said "Skipping tests due to SRC_TEST=skip", but once it's installed =dev-perl/Net-HTTP-6.160.0 passes its test phase.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -1 dev-perl/Net-HTTP:0

Actual Results:
Skips the available update to =dev-perl/Net-HTTP-6.160.0 due to missing keyword on IO-Socket-INET6.

Expected Results:
Should update to =dev-perl/Net-HTTP-6.160.0, because its deps should have the ~x64-macos keyword. (Or else versions 6.120.0 and up shouldn't have that keyword.)
