Without setting LS_SETTINGS_DIR or configuring --path.settings accordingly /opt/logstash/config/logstash.yml will be read instead of /etc/logstash/logstash.yml. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. /etc/init.d/logstash start 2. 3.
