I am willing to proxy maintain this package. >I think /etc is no good place for example files. >It should go to /usr/share/doc/${PN}/example This is reasonable -- the default behaviour of the package is to install the configuration files to '${BUILDDIR}/run/conf', but '/usr/share/doc' is more reasonable for a system install. I should have an updated ebuild within the next week, barring exception circumstances.
