This issue persists. The package itself is unmaintained with the only stabled arch being x86. Upstream has not made any releases since 2014, and the repo hasn't seen any activity since 2014. I'm unaware of any direct replacement, but the tasks mentioned by upstream can be handled by every MUA or MTA I've used.
