I've got version bumps for aiohttp-2.0.7 and yarl-0.10.0 in this branch: https://github.com/zmedico/gentoo/tree/aiohttp-2.0.7 However, it's possible that there may be some compatibility issues with API consumers, and there's a migration guide here: http://aiohttp.readthedocs.io/en/latest/migration.html Also, I've filed an upstream issue for a possible regression that I've encountered with an app that I maintain at work, but it might not affect anyone else: https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/issues/1863 Adding maintainers of API consumers to CC, in case of compatibility problems: dev-python/pytest-aiohttp: Python Team, Alex Brandt dev-python/zeep: Python Team, Cédric Krier net-im/hangups: William Hubbs
The ebuilds are in gentoo now, with package.mask so we can test them before unmasking: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=a1371fc2e3206a8c9f20527296f33bc4cbc017fd

I'm taking this package since it was put up for grabs. I think aiohttp-2.x has been masked long enough, so please adjust you dependencies if you find any incompatibilities.
